The Thousand card game for three, with the widow, marriages and the barrel, plus a journey with talismans that change the rules. The rules are right inside the game: not everyone knows Thousand.
Thousand by the familiar rules, we left the canon alone. Twenty-four cards, three players at the table, three cards in the widow. Bidding starts at a hundred in steps of five, then the contract, the discard, marriages, the barrel at eight hundred eighty and the bolt for three passes in a row. Opponents at two levels, from calm to calculating.
A chain of deals with the Wanderer's Shop in between. There you spend in-game gold on talismans, and they change the rules in your favor: the nine comes alive and starts taking tricks, the widow becomes visible in advance, a marriage can be declared without leading. Talismans stack with each other, so no two journeys are the same.
Not everyone knows Thousand, and that is its main problem: people find the game, start playing and quit without understanding why the ten beats the king. So the rules sit right in the game on their own screen, short and to the point. And during a deal, hints at the bottom tell you what is happening right now and what is expected of you.
The Rules pack for 99 rubles unlocks strict play, a strict widow and marriages only from the queen. Table rules for 149 rubles add several more modes. Card backs for 129 rubles are six card back designs, and Tables for 99 rubles are six cloth colors. The Full chest for 399 rubles includes all four at once, and Everything in both games for 649 rubles unlocks the same in Durak as well.
Every purchase is one-time and yours forever, with no automatic charges. Everything that was free stays free, and nothing in the game is locked behind a purchase. Terms are on the Purchases page.
The goal is simple: score a thousand points before your two opponents. Points come from the cards you win in tricks and from declared marriages.
Controls are the same on phone and computer: a single tap or a mouse click.
No. It opens in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
Yes. The game has a rules screen, and during a deal hints at the bottom tell you what is happening and what is expected of you. You can start with a classic match and watch how the bots play.
That's how Thousand works, it is not a bug. The order of strength differs from what you know from Durak, so the first few games feel unusual.
You can play for free, and there are no ads on the studio site. Purchases exist, but they are all optional: the Rules pack for 99 rubles, Table rules for 149, Card backs for 129, Tables for 99, and the Full chest with all of these for 399. We have no subscriptions and no paid random chests. Details are on the Purchases page.
On the site your progress is stored in the browser, so you can close the tab and come back later. If you sign in with Yandex ID or VK ID, your progress is also saved on our side and opens on your other devices. On a gaming platform, that platform's own cloud saves are used.
