What the game is

The old yard game of flicking checkers. Each side has eight checkers on its own edge of the board, and you move by flicking. Pull a checker back like a slingshot and let it go: it flies the other way and knocks the rivals off the edge. Knock a rival off while your own checker stays on the board, and you shoot again. A round ends when one side has no checkers left.

A campaign of forty battles

The campaign runs across eight places: a wooden table, a park, a marble hall, a night embankment, winter, a cafe, a ship and a veranda. Every battle has its own rival out of eighteen, each with a face, a style and four moods.

The board can be wood, felt, ice or sand: on ice checkers slide further, on sand they get stuck. Stumps stand on the board and bounce your checkers away. Each battle gives one to three stars, and the first one teaches everything in three hints.

Puzzles and quick play

Forty puzzles ask you to clear the board in a set number of flicks, and a new daily puzzle comes every day. Play the computer on five levels, from Novice to Chapaev, or play a friend on one screen.

Rows, sets and achievements

The winner of a round starts the next one closer to the center, and winning a round from the fourth row wins the match. The One Round mode has no rows. Wins earn coins for six checker sets and board themes. Twenty achievements wait for those who play clean.
